Petrolheads, prepare yourselves! In case you aren’t aware, EA Sports and Codemasters currently hold the rights to produce officially licensed World Rally Championship games, taking over from Nacon and KT Racing. The first game in this new contract will be released this year. Given Codemasters’ excellent DiRT Rally series, we expect this official game to be a good one, and it seems as though we’ll find out very soon indeed.

Reliable gaming leaker billbil-kun took to Twitter a couple of days ago to highlight some details about WRC 23 — what the game is purportedly called. According to the tweet, the game is lining up for release on PS5 on 28th July 2023:
