Not literally, mind.

Palmer Luckey was back in the virtual reality news cycle towards the end of last year when he revealed he had a prototype for a headset that will straight up kill you if you die during a game. The founder of Oculus is a little eccentric to say the least, but you can’t doubt his passion for VR. The literally explosive prototype will obviously never make it any further than Luckey’s home (we hope), but the next major hardware in the space, Sony’s PSVR2, is blowing his mind in a whole different way.

Replying to PlayStation’s Shuhei Yoshida on Twitter, he says he was “blown away” by a recent hands-on session with the upcoming visor and controllers:
