A Warner Bros support page has revealed Hogwarts Legacy will include two different graphical modes on PS5: one will run at 30 frames-per-second while the other “targets” 60fps. In addition, if your TV supports the feature, you will be able to utilise variable refresh rates. This is only for the PS5 version, with the edition releasing for PS4 yet to be dated.

“The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S console versions of Hogwarts Legacy support multiple graphical modes of play, the most common of which are Fidelity mode which runs at 30 fps, and Performance mode which targets 60 fps,” reads the support page. It then explains how you’ll need a compatible TV to activate VRR. A screen resolution isn’t attached to the stated frame rates, but it’s safe to assume you’ll be dealing with worse visuals if you select performance mode.
